{Chicken Jalfrezi}
Ingredients:
- Chicken (1 kg)
- Chicken Jalfrezi Masala (1 packet)
- Yogurt (one cup)
- Tomatoes (2 large/4 small)
- Capsicum (1 large)
- Onion (1 medium)
- Cooking oil (1 cup)
- Coriander (as required)
- Green chilies (for garnishing)
Recipe:
Wash the meat and take it out in a bowl. Now add curd and Jalfrezi spices and mix it well. Now put the meat with this spice to marinate for thirty to forty five minutes. On the other side, make tomato paste and cut the capsicum and onion into large chunks.
Now heat cooking oil in a separate pan on low flame. When the oil gets hot, add the tomato paste and saute it well on medium heat. When the oil separates, add the marinated meat and stir it well. Simmer it on the flame for ten minutes so that the meat is tendered in its own water, if necessary, add a splash of water. When the meat is tendered, add chopped onions and capsicum and cook for another two to three minutes.. When the capsicum and onion become soft, reduce the heat to medium and add coriander and cook for another minute. Chicken Jalfrezi is ready. Take it out in a serving dish and garnish with finely chopped green chilies, green coriander and served with naan or rice.
